As the Director of Development & Communications at OBF, I have had the privilege of creating our strategic development and communications plan, executing that plan and watching the OBF grow into its potential. With the help of great Board Members, we have completely re-branded, updated giving levels, implemented a new donor database with emphasis on better donor relations and recurring giving options, designed a new website, revamped materials, enhanced outreach efforts to the legal community, and reengaged our constituents at our 70th Anniversary Event. Most importantly, we have switched the focus off of us by making our Grantees the centerpiece of all communications efforts. Looking ahead, we have big plans in the works for our 75th Anniversary, some innovative partnership opportunities, a young associate Board and a major gifts program.

Pilates is more than just exercise, it is a way of life. The breathing techniques, postural alignments and core strength help people stay active, pain free and healthy throughout their lifetime. Everyone can benefit from Pilates. I am honored and thrilled to teach at Pilates Fitness Center under Kim Jackson & Linda Roberts. Their knowledge of the practice is remarkable and I am privileged to learn from them.Since the age of 5, I have been involved in dance, gymnastics, cheerleading, and basketball. I enjoy being active and have a passion for movement and exercise. I began my Pilates journey as I studied at the University of Oklahoma taking Pilates as an elective twice a week my senior year. I was amazed at how quickly the practice helped reduce the stress from a hectic school schedule. The alleviation of stress and tension mixed with toning and core stabilization made me fall in love with the practice. I was certified in Mat through the Physical Mind Institute in the spring of 2008 and shadowed my OU Pilates instructor after certification to better learn how to manage a class. In 2013, I started taking classes at Pilates Fitness Center and received my second Mat certification that year through the Physical Mind Institute. After training to teach the Barre technique used at PFC, I began teaching both Barre and Mat at the studio. Since then I have graduated from the Anatomy in 3D training in 2014 and completed a Scolio-Pilates course in 2015. It is my goal to become reformer certified in the next few years.

Serve as a marketing consultant by assisting accounts with strategic plans to grow business through advertising and promotion. Create ad proposals and present recommendations to customers. Knowledgeable in OPUBCO products and services including: The Oklahoman, newsok.com, special sections, social media, retargeting, website development, search engine optimization, direct mail, video production.

Campaign management: Recruit and train Resource Development volunteers, implement long term strategy and goals for resource development efforts, develop and execute plan to achieve/surpass Board approved goal in the community-wide campaign, enhance division structure including goals, timelines & materials. Relationship Management: strengthen and improve donor relationships, prospect and cultivate new relationships to expand resource development efforts.Event Planning: Coordinate and develop United Way of Norman's biggest fundraising event, Celebrity Sing. Plan and implement all training events for Cabinet Volunteers, committee members and employee campaign coordinators. Assist companies in planning their company drive kick-off events.
