Fundraising Operations Associate
I'm responsible for developing key internal processes that streamline and maximize fundraising efforts. Additionally, I provide admin support to 5 fundraising professionals that collectively raise $13 million a year and ensure timely and accurate data entry to our CRM. I lead projects related to process development and process improvement, as well as act as a change champion for Microsoft 365, by coaching staff on how to use technology to harness the power of efficiency and automation in their work through applications like Power Automate, Forms, Lists, Planner, and OneNote. My role oversees the revenue processing of our unsolicited portfolio, and third-party processors like Benevity, Canada Helps etc. I also set up special events using third party software like Eventbrite, and Rafflebox. This work also involves overseeing tax receipts related to special events and in-kind donations. I am responsible for AGLC licenses and reporting for raffles, 50/50s, and bingos including processing applications, submitting financial reports, and serving as a resource to volunteers for gaming related inquiries. I manage our donor stewardship processes for Retention and Thank You calls by training the staff and volunteers and hosting call blitz sessions. I'm responsible for the volunteer recognition program at our annual Red Tie Gala including developing the nomination process, collecting 120+ nominations, and facilitating the volunteer advisory panel session. I also support projects like data gathering for the annual report, managing the constituent evaluation process for 400+ partners, and act as a SME for temporary staff 4 months a year. Lastly, I provide support to 20+ volunteers who are senior level executives from the business community who sit on our Workplace Fundraising Cabinet, and Women United Cabinet, including developing articles for the website, scheduling meetings, sending out agendas, and taking minutes.
Strategic Partnerships Senior Admin Specialist
As the senior administrative specialist for our Strategic Partnership division, I assist three account managers with growing our donor base. Our division accounts for approximately $10 million in fundraising per year with major corporate partners around the city. I take on the reporting, research, admin and project management tasks, so they can focus on building relationships with influential contacts and donors. I work with the team by anticipating the needs of the account managers and the workplace campaign chair and then building in best practices into the fundraising campaign cycle to meet those needs. I keep the account managers focused on success by tracking fundraising campaign activities and monitoring tasks that are outstanding. I also support the Director of Strategic Partnerships and the Director of Resource Development Operations by assisting with projects, corporate social responsibility research, drafting and updating key account profiles, creating and documenting procedures, influencing policy changes, issuing special event fundraising licenses through AGLC and approving tax receipt requests according to CRA guidelines.
Owner
Caring pet owners know that most pets adjust better to their owner’s absence and experience less anxiety when they can remain in their home environments. I make this possible with daily visits to your home. In addition to meals, exercise, playtime, and cleaning litter boxes or cages, I can also administer medications, walk dogs and perform other pet-care duties. I also provide vital home-care services while you are away, including mail or newspaper pick up, plant care and watering, placing trash outside for pickup or rotating the lights and opening or closing the blinds to make your house look lived in. My services provide peace of mind for everyone.www.totallypawsomepetsitting.com
