I have a knack for solving problems and connecting to a diverse array of stakeholders. I’ve done this throughout my career, first as a Public Relations & Event Planning professional working in the Oil & Gas Sectors, to my current work as an Educator and Team Leader. I absolutely love planning & executing learning experiences which lead to optimal engagement, whether for children and adults. This year, my classroom has been recognized by BISD’s Superintendent as a model of strong engagement & teaching practices. In my role as a grade level chair, I lead the 4th grade team and am coaching & developing 3 first-year teachers, equipping them with strong problem solving & relationship-building skills and ensuring we thrive even in the midst of a global pandemic. Informed by my experiences in the private & educator sectors, as well as my Masters in Business Administration, I approach challenges with a respect for data, commitment to ongoing feedback loops, and strong market research & partnership-building skills.
