Inaugural director of an Associate’s Degree Program for working adults and returning students at THEARC located in Southeast Washington, DC, the first established location for higher education in east of the Anacostia River (DC), and the only offsite location for Trinity. • Collaborated with academic departments/offices to develop strategies for conducting business at offsite locations. • Generated, analyzed, and reported data for visits from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. In 2010, Trinity (Washington) University received final accreditation for the offsite campus.• Developed new Areas of Emphases (majors) for AA program based on community demand. Aligned courses with AACU outcomes and participated in program assessment.• Served on various Boards, Academic, and Service Committees to assist with curriculum and policy development for School of Professional Studies and THEARC. Planned and opened the DC Area Pre-College Office in 2003 to capitalize on the 2005 SAT changes though improved product focus and strategic sales and marketing. This allowed for delivery of SAT/PSAT/ACT courses at over 70 offsite locations serving over 1500 students. Pre-College Revenues increased by 47% over previous year.• Opened 10 new markets for Kaplan Pre-College Programs, which allowed Kaplan to dominate the DC Pre-College market, resulting in a much larger market share than our closest competitor. • Developed and managed P&L with revenues ranging from $400K to $1.4M.• Create course schedules to meet student/market needs and maximize enrollment growth.
