- Served as the first of contact engineer in the Singapore engineering office for the Damen FCS 3307 Series- Prepare Scope of Work for stock vessels and sold vessels for the local and Damen Gorinchem Project Managers’ approval- Prepare Scope of Work for Navcom and electrical vendor as per project specifications- Prepare option lists as per project specifications- Responsible for the delivery of construction drawings towards production as per project specifications- Coordinating with purchasing department on equipment procurement and delivery time as per schedule planned out by the Project Manager- Communicating effectively and working efficiently with Project Manager to ensure smooth delivery of engineering documents, resolving any problems along the way and to see through the end of the project- Creating 2D construction drawings with Autocad; Detail engineering – customization as per client’s request- Liaise with class (Bureau Veritas Rotterdam) at start of project for RFQ and prepare documents for RFC- Prepare inclining test loading plan and perform light weight check / inclining test - Coordinating light weight check / inclining test with local class surveyor and prepare report for stamp and approval- Prepare preliminary and final stability booklets for submission to class with PIAS software- Prepare and perform aluminium hull weighing- Prepare report on hull weighing results for Project Manager’s review and working together to resolve any weight discrepancy - Conduct sounding pipe measurements and prepare report on sounding tables- Ensure that required class documents are all in place before vessel delivery- Responsible for closing categories with class towards end of project to ensure for smooth and timely delivery of vessel to customer

- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned projects and plan according to project’s requirement - Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, preparing status report together with coordinating materials and assist logistics, shipment and receiving of parts and equipment- Perform overall quality control of the work (schedule & plans) - Interacting with customers to interpret their needs and requirements to the workshop and contractors- Cooperate and communicate effectively with Sales Manager and Technical Manager to provide assistance and technical support- Review and prepare engineering deliverables (drawings etc.)

My responsibilities include:- producing ship hull structural drawings - producing mechanical drawings for the ship's shafting- producing of Safety & Fire plan for the vessel- doing up general calculations and schematic one-line diagrams for the ship's electrical system- producing simple piping system drawings for the ship- accessing ship's stability and damage assessment with GHS software- direct contact with owner representative, shipyard and suppliersAs a Naval Architect, I am familiar with Classification rules by ABS & BV in particular for Steel Vessels under 90m and High Speed Craft as well as various resolutions under IMO, SOLAS and Load Lines etc. Projects that I've handled:1. 65m Landing Craft (steel construction) x3 vessels; (2 ABS, 1 BV)2. 40m Utilility Crew Boat (aluminium construction) x2 vessels; (Both ABS)3. 42m Utilility Crew Boat (pending) x1 vessel; (BV)
