Allen & Shariff designs, builds and manages construction projects around the world.Mary joined Allen & Shariff in December 1997 as COO & CFO. Prior to joining Allen & Shariff, Mary has been Controller for Jordan Kitt’s Music, a $27 million retail chain of thirteen stores and headed accounting, inventory control, human resources, cash management and financial planning and budgeting. Prior positions included Chief Financial Officer for Builders Hardware Corporation, an $11 million wholesale distributor and Vice President and Controller of Olson Research Associates, Inc., a financial planning firm for banks and other financial institutions.Mary is currently serving as Chair on the Board of Directors for Leadership Howard County, Vice-Chair of the Board of Elizabeth Seton High School and a Board member for the Howard Community College Educational Foundation. She has served as Treasurer of FIRN (Foreign Born Information & Referral Network), a member of the Howard County Public School System Operation Budget and Review Committee, and a Board member for the Howard County Conservancy. She is a graduate of both Leadership Howard County (2003) and Leadership Maryland (2006).
