I am a part time M.Sc. in Event Management student at Technological University Dublin and I have also obtained a BA (Hons) Human Resource Management degree from the National College of Ireland. I was the Vice President of the Fashion Society from 2020-2022, which I and other students founded in our 1st year. My role consisted of leading and managing a team along with the President to promote and organize events for other students to enjoy and avail of. I assisted the committee members with any tasks they may be handed and also listen to any questions and concerns they may be having while providing them with a solution.In my 1st year I was placed on the Dean's Honor List due to my academic performance and receiving a 1.1 average throughout the year. I am also happy to say that in 2020-2021 the Fashion Society won the Best New Society of The Year award, which I was Vice President for also. Concerning work, I am currently the Front of House Duty Manager at the National Concert Hall where we are praised for our customer service and customer care. I liaise with House Management to ensure all relevant information is to hand in advance of the event including artist/programme details, pre-concert talk details, promoter requirements, staff rosters, show times, function details, expected dignitaries etc.Brief all staff before every performance on their specific duties for the event, advise them of artist/programme details and ensure that they are properly presented and conduct themselves in accordance with the customer service policy. I regularly communicate with FOH staff to clarify roles, expectations, behaviours and to resolve any issues. Along with that, I deal with all patron requests with courtesy, consideration and professionalism and liaise with Stage Management regarding seating arrangements, timings and co-ordinate opening of house and clearanceI started my journey in the NCH as an Usher and Front Desk Receptionist where I helped patrons with any needs or problems they may have to ensure they were content and satisfied. This involves being a pleasant, courteous, and professional face for the organisation. I am a reliable, determined and hardworking person, with proficient customer service experience, not to mention my significant want to learn new skills and to put those skills into practice. I greatly enjoy meeting and communicating with others as well as, helping and guiding them in any way possible.
