I have a great passion for the world of technology. As a child I didn’t have access to the latest or greatest pieces of tech, but I feel that’s what drove me even more into the field of IT. When a power surge hit my personal computer, I took it upon myself to find out how computers work. Through research I learned not only the components within a PC but how they interacted and worked together. This drove me to salvage pieces from different devices in order to piecemeal my computer back into working order. From there I began a hobby of building personal computers with an emphasis on using/creating water coolant systems. I especially love the challenge that some systems can bring in the building process. The sense of accomplishment when hitting the power button after a build to see the lights turn on and hear the fans spin always makes the hard work worthwhile. I was fortunate to have received a job offer at the completion of my Associates degree within the field of IT. For the past six years, and currently, I have been the sole dedicated IT support specialist at the largest warehouse within the company. I have been lucky to have the chance to continuously grow and be challenged with all the new things technology continues to bring throughout the years. This is what I love most about this field; that there is always something new to learn. Every day the world of technology grows and with it brings exciting new challenges and learning opportunities. I look forward to seeing my future grow alongside this thrilling field.
