My name is Cara Jackson and I am a senior public relations major at the University of Florida. I am passionate about expressing my creativity, storytelling and utilizing the power of data-driven insights. Through my coursework at UF I have learned to plan strategically, manage social media accounts and write pitches and press releases. I have worked in fast-paced environments with a lot of customer facing exposure. I have hands-on experience creating media content for local businesses in High Springs, Florida. I’m particularly interested in working within industries where I can make a meaningful impact. Whether it’s creating narratives in the entertainment or beauty industry, advocating for policy initiatives, or supporting non-profits. I’m excited to immerse myself in the world of PR and get hands-on experience that can make a difference! My goal is to join a team that is innovative and purpose-driven.
