I believe creativity can exist in the every day and within every person; my passion is empowering teams and individuals to access their ability to uncover the unexpected.15+ years of inventing award-winning products for Fortune 500 companies and training hundreds of executives around the world led to the discovery that adventure and playfulness lead to breakthroughs. Collaborations led to the creation of multi-billion dollar business models for healthcare companies, published work on how millennials will uproot the concept of innovation, and the launch of award-winning packaged-goods products. In addition to creating products and services to drive topline growth, I led transformation initiatives to embed cultures of innovation in global organizations. In need of adventure in my personal life, I started Serenflipity as a solo travel experiment to get unstuck – that project has grown into an adventure game designed to get people out of their comfort zones, a text message adventure concierge, and a new way to socialize at events. Our first product continues to be sold globally, and we’ve received write-ups in Forbes, NBC, and in various trend reports. As a founder and seasoned marketing executive, I continue to work with leadership teams, corporate and Private Equity clients to create brand breakthroughs and drive cultural transformation.I guest lecture on innovation, adventure, and creativity at institutions including Columbia Business School, USC Marshall School of Business, and Middlebury College. In my free time, you can find me researching and testing new ways to alleviate the loneliness epidemic, exploring the intersection of empathy and AI, as well as rollerskating and meditating — but, fortunately, not at the same time.
