720.327.1910When I was young, I wanted to be a police officer. The idea of patrolling the city solving crime and keeping people safe was akin to wearing a superhero cape. I was going to make a difference in the world.But despite a college degree in criminal justice, I found myself working at a Lowe's Home Improvement store. Selling people patio furniture was an all-time low for me. I wasn't fulfilling my life's purpose -- and I wasn't making any kind of substantial income. Then I found out about Wealth Wave. I originally got their services because of my weak financial situation, but soon became a part of the team. I'm Cara Polonsky, my aim is to teach people about finances and for retirees to secure their savings. I thoroughly enjoy educating clients and a few of my client's I'm particularly proud of helping, have been my parents. I realized that I had found my calling in becoming a financial educator.We seek to improve financial literacy: to teach our clients the nitty gritties of expanding turnover and valuable small business tax saving strategies. We coach clients from all walks of life: homeowners, retirees and entrepreneurs -- people looking for financial security and growth. My work at Wealth Wave isn't related to criminal justice, but it has definitely helped make an impact around me. And it's left me with enough time to volunteer at two relief groups: Kings Team Teen Camp & Royal Family Kids Club, organizations that mentors children & teens in the foster system.As a financial educator, I seek to coach you toward pursuing your goals.
