I’m honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of caring for a multitude of patient populations, ranging from preemies to adults.In addition to my bedside roles I am a collaborative and contributing member of the Pediatric departments process improvement initiatives. Playing an active role in reviewing and improving policy's, solving supply & storage planning to promote efficiency and aid in lean culture, contributing to onboarding and mentoring new staff, and prioritizing staying up to date with EBP through routine continuous education sessions. I pride myself in my ability to connect, validate, support, and educate those around me by honing in on their unique needs. I am able to independently prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and regional lead for my infusion business.I aspire to always be a life-long learner and desire to continuously be progressing my nursing skills, roles, and responsibilities. Working with families to help them achieve their personal goals is the highlight of my career. I enjoy listening to my families, teaching, guiding, and support their bonding & healing journey. When I’m not at work, I’m playing with my kids, "fur babies" & exploring life with my husband. We enjoy camping in the PNW and catching flights for a tropical get away.
