Mr. Carey A. Davis is a true champion and St. Louis hero. Born and raised in St. Louis, Davis has been a champion on and off the field since high school. He attended Hazelwood Central High School and participated in winning a state championship as a sophomore. Davis was a letter winner in multiple sports during his high school years. Due to his success in high school athletics, Davis received an athletic scholarship to play football at the University of Illinois. Davis worked his way to become a three year starter and help lead his team to the first outright Big Ten Championship in nearly 20 years. After graduating in May 2003 with a degree in Sport Management, Davis fulfilled his dream of playing in the NFL.Davis worked extremely hard to solidify his presence in the NFL. After several tough years, Davis earned the position of starting fullback with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2007. Davis proved to be a crucial weapon in the Pittsburgh offense and helped lead the Steelers to an amazing Super Bowl XLIII victory in 2009.Davis currently works for ESPN in St. Louis as an analyst. He also works for Learfield Radio as a sideline reporter for the University of Illinois. When he's not attending to these tasks, Davis enjoys taking time out of his schedule to speak to youth with the hopes that they achieve more in life.
