In this position, I own and lead specific customer engagements implementing our flagship Technology Business Management SaaS solution. This position is an integral part of Apptio’s long term relationship with its customers, and the efforts put forth directly impact the value realized by the customer and the ultimate success of the relationship.Responsibilities Include:Own and lead multiple, simultaneous customer engagements implementing the Apptio SaaS solution.Develop strong customer relationships that enable Apptio to become a trusted advisor for our customer’s IT executives.Provide both engagement and technical leadership to the customer.Provide business acumen for customers and strive to understand the business problem we are solving in order to best configure the solution and exceed customer expectations.Gather functional and business requirements from client and translate into a functional hosted solution design according to client needs and scope of Apptio products/services.Ensure completion of deliverables, managing schedules, meeting milestones, and ensuring technical success.Work with the product management and development organization to channel client feedback and solutions into future releases of the Apptio product suite.Work with content management to channel commonalities across customers into best practices processes & product delivered templates.Collaborate with other departments in the company to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion.Work with Sales Account Management teams to identify areas of solution expansion.

The Apptio Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for the implementation and ongoing customer management of named accounts to ensure their success and renewal of the Apptio solution. The TAM is expected to maintain the direct post sales customer relationship from a delivery perspective and work closely with the Center of Excellence (COE) to fulfill customer needs. The TAM acts as a trusted advisor to the customer by providing them guidance and sharing best practices. The TAM is responsible for driving customer adoption and value realization for his/her named accounts.
