Community Clinical Research Representative for the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Clinical Research Review Committee (CRRC)The CRRC is a multidisciplinary committee that provides peer review and monitoring of the scientificmerit of all OHSU cancer-related research studies through the course of the clinical research process. As a Community Clinical Research Representative, I provide feedback and raise important questions about each research study reviewed—voicing views regarding the impact and potential concerns regarding the research, from a patient perspective, in hopes that we may better serve all oncology patients in our community. This includes:• Collaborating with members with a variety of scientific and medical expertise in a broad spectrum of specialties• Conducting an independent review of each study to identify concerns related to the proposed research plan from a patient perspective including potential recruitment barriers, safety concerns, and understandability of study materials
