Dundas Valley Conservation Area

• Oversee all daily operations and maintenance of 3500 acres of conservation area land holdings, with 100km of trails, numerous facilities and buildings, rental houses and visitor attractions• Supervise staff, provide training, leadership and mentoring; create schedules and work plans• Plan and facilitate numerous events, work with user agreements and liaise with special interest groups• Ensure compliance of health and safety policies• Provide service coordination for Environmental Education program • Design and manage best practices of maintenance programs for conservation areas• Organize capital development projects

Christie Lake Conservation Area

• Engage in grounds and building maintenance• Assist in set up and take down for group and corporate picnics and special events• Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Christie Lake Dam; collect and test water samples• Direct casual summer staff with respect to park operations and grounds maintenance

• Prepare curriculum and daily lesson plans for summer camp sessions• Complete administrative tasks and compile information in working database• Prepare reports and correspondence• Provide students with hands-on environmental education experiences in and out of doors• Facilitate, teach and guide outdoor active co-operative programs• Assist with development of curriculum and resources for specialized mobile classroom outreach programs• Prepare, implement and present mobile classroom outreach programs in local schools• Assist with planning and facilitation of community-wide special events

• Responsible for the health and well-being of international students from 70 countries worldwide• Develop and execute programming in accordance with school policies to meet academic, social, emotional and physical needs of students • Liaise with international liaison officers, staff and teachers to monitor, track and meet requirements of students• Coordination of daily residence operations• Manage, supervise and train Lead House Parents and Residence House Parents• Develop YAA program policies and procedures, staff guidelines, and student database• Coordinate and staff medical appointments, visa/passport/study permit renewals and university interviews• Facilitate and coordinate evening, weekend and overnight trips, activities and special events for YAA students• Participate in the planning of special events in school and residence• Develop and deliver presentations to staff, overseas agents, prospective students and parents• Counsel and provide support to students who are having issues related to academics, clubs, programming, residential life, disciplinary issues, and personal circumstances• Plan and implement YAA student residence lifestyle and school orientation at the beginning of each student intake • Oversee and support YAA Council - Executive Student Leadership Team and YAA Peer Mentors• Promote program and department opportunities through weekly YAA newsletters

• Liaise with the Accommodations Coordinator, Venues and Activities Coordinator, Independent Coordinator and Camp Director to determine arrival and departure dates, and all other information pertaining to campers• Coordinate all residence operations for summer campers and group leaders• Organize, supervise and assist staff with regular local day trips• Coordinate and oversee logistics for eight-day overnight trips with campers and group leaders to Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Bark Lake Leadership Camp• Coordination of daily residence operations for summer campers• Manage, supervise and train Residence Chaperones
