This is a blended role where I also cover for the production team leader, slicing team leader and bakery operative. My role is to link cross departmental such as stores, production, distribution, engineering, internal planning, logistics and technical to ensure the smooth running of production, meeting deadlines and targets without sacrificing on quality and health and safety. While fulfilling my daily duties in a fast paced, high pressure environment I simultaneously contribute to drive quality whilst fulfilling demand. Within operations I am required to assist throughout various departments, including areas of the production and operations environment. Tasks can include sieving fine ingredients to controlling order fulfilment and allocation, right through to organising workflow and making sure the workforces deadlines are achieved timely.A priority within my role is ensuring all work is carried out safely and appropriately by all staff members. I often coach and share my vast knowledge with the wider team offering proactive support and on the job training. I am capable of making fast, on the spot decisions while being mindful of safety and effectivity to ensure organisational objectives are aligned during any problem solving incidences that may transpire.
