Job Involved ensuring the safe delivery of all projects in accordance the company policy & procedures and adhering to all statutory and regulatory legislation, Defining the project scope, objectives, milestones and deliverables, being responsible for ensuring best value was obtained for the project including supplier base and the use of internal and external resources. Maintaining and completing Project Key Performance Indicators Writing detailed and summarised project progress reports. This roll consisted of selling the One Army Brand to age groups ranging from 15 and seven months up to 33 years. I was appointed to take charge of all outreach activities including school visits / Job Fairs and various events within the North east of England. In the Catterick office alone, due to outreach activities and mail drops, the recruiting increased significantly by 50% from the previous year. In addition to this I carried out interviews and advised where within the Army the candidate would be suitably employed. This was measured on their qualifications and qualities shown throughout a series of interviews and all other stages of the recruiting process.

SGT 3rd Battallion The Parachute Regiment.

During this period it was my job to train and mentor recruits from arriving for training on day one, to achieving both the skills and fitness level needed to pass the Parachute Regiment Selection Course. (P-Company). In addition to this I participated in various adventurous training activities such as Hill walking/Mountain biking and Sea Kayaking. In the later stage of my posting I re-structured the Rehabilitation Platoon within Parachute Regiment Company. This was made up of recruits failing to make the required grade on test week, as well as transfers from other units within the field army who wished to join The Parachute Regiment. Also the need to maintain and asses the fitness level of officers commissioned into the Regiment prior to attempting All Arms P Company. Also mentoring and retraining recruits who sustained injury during training.

In camp duties were to ensure the daily running of the guard room and the security of 600 personnel within the battalion. Also maintaining the security of the perimeter of the camp area making sure all locations and buildings were secure Reporting directly to the Regimental Sergeant Major with any issues. In addition to this, the discipline for the Battalions personel was maintained to ensure that day to day duties could be carried out smoothly. During operational commitment the key role was the Close protection of the commanding officer of the Battalion.
