Support and maintain program and project level control procedures for DoD governance related initiatives, such as resource utilization, change control, financials and portfolio development and maintenance. Responsible to the Chief, Program Management Office for Budget estimates and adjustments; track progress and quality of organizational performance and justify significant changes in staffing, equipment/facilities, and processes. Train and advise Project Managers on planning, prioritization and scheduling of work, review change requests ensure changes in resources, organizational needs, scope and budget are captured ensuring accurate information is portrayed to decision makers. Serve as the nexus of the Program Management knowledge base and provide accurate and professional Program Management guidance to senior Staff and Leadership. Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues.  Brief senior leadership on program status and milestones.

Responsibilities: Project team training and coaching, client relations, research verification and document editing, senior level management briefings, project financial (cost and schedule) performance and deliverable verification.Achievements: As project manager integrated over 15 employees into the team, continually maintaining an effective and efficient team balance. Coached and trained project employees in their preparation for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. 4 employees took and passed the exam. Determined the need for quarterly client review briefs. Worked with client and program management to develop briefs that reviewed the teams’ progress. The final case studies were delivered to the government on schedule.

Responsibilities: Logistics, equipping, movement and resourcing for 3000 soldiers, 300 helicopters and thousands of lines of Equipment. Direct training, readiness, morale, welfare and discipline of 12 soldiers including 2 officers, 2 warrant officers and 8 non-commissioned officers.Achievements: Moved the soldiers and equipment of the brigade 4 times (USA to Kuwait, Kuwait to Iraq, Iraq to Kuwait, Kuwait to USA). Provided logistics expertise to the Army Logistic Center working to establish a permanent Army base in Kuwait. Senior liaison to theatre command for movement and maneuver in retrograde operations.

Senior Project Manager for three U.S. Navy Projects. These projects included work in the Chemical and Biological Defense, Force Protection, Safety, Training and Consequence Management capability areas for the Chief of Naval Installations Command (CNIC). Responsibilities: Team development and training, employee to management relations, employee career progression planning, project cost and schedule control. Experience writing government proposals.

Responsibilities: Worked with the mechanics, design leads and supervisors to develop an airplane manufacturing schedule recovery effort which solved immediate manufacturing issues. These issues included job scheduling, on time part delivery and ensuring the proper inspection of parts. Achievements: Developed the manufacturing recovery plan to ensure FAA compliance. This recovery plan put the manufacturing schedule back on its' original timeline, ultimately saving Boeing money in standard labor, overtime, and late airplane delivery costs.
