Since I started the IT team has built a complete Hyper-v environment, upgraded to 2008 R2 then to 2012 R2. We moved from XP to Windows 7 some Windows 8.1 and testing Windows 10. We are moving to Azure Active Directory, Intune and Office 365 along with SharePoint 2013 and Dynamics SL 2011 with SL 2015 not far behind, We implemented on line monitoring via SMTP, central syslog on all devices, SonicWall firewall and SRA for VPN, deployed iPhones and iPad's for sales developed system in house with contractor. Upgraded UPS world ship twice, upgrading SQL server from 2005 to 2012 final testing now. Built a small data center 45 minutes power reserve for servers, own A/C multiple racks controlled access, add physical security to campus. Upgraded mail twice to hosted exchange testing upgrade to Office 365. Have check list for all IT activities, implemented a help desk. Regular visits to all devices for physical tune up. We are a very excellent IT organization. Very good uptime, high root cause analysis to stomp out problems, Use Symantec small business endpoint protection. Have a vpn to hosted web site use web services between web site and data center. Designed and implemented an Aerohive wireless mesh network with ViYu.

Not working for Paranet anymore!Being a senior technologist at Paranet during the last eleven years, working with many great customers - Fidelity Investments, Alliance Data, AAFES, Ericsson, I've been privileged to do great technology projects. I just finished doing a total infrastructure for a startup .com. Using VMware - Microsoft - Cisco - Internet facing SharePoint Server - Data Protection Manager - SQL 2005 and Forefront. I designed and built corporate IT and then in an outsourced Data Center the Internet web site. I've done three SAN implementations, a SQL consolidation, a server consolidation, a 750 server MOM implementation, a System Center Essentials implementation, moved one data center from out sourced to in sourced. I completed several technology and people assessments that required technology and organizational analysis with specific recommendations, many technology rollouts of new infrastructure. I've worked across the size spectrum from small to global.

Consulting and Business Development, were my primary responsibilities. We grew the business from 15 to 50 employees won several long term outsourcing and consulting contracts. Consulting in New Orleans and Washington DC, extensive effort on a complete technology infrasturcture RFP for the Departmanet of State, wrote large parts of the RFP. RFP was a global replacement of all IT equipment PC and Servers, going from NOVELL and Banyan Systems to Microsoft NT.

I grew my team from 25 people doing 2.5 million per year to 250 doing 42.4 million per year. Major outsource customers were EPA, GSA. Won long term contracts with Treasury, DISA - DDN. Managed world wide configurations for MILNET. I ran my group P/L had complete control of sale, operations and delivery.
