Manage all construction related activities on all Shentel owned towers. This includes 231 locations in six states. Manage all the structural modifications. Manage all the obstruction lighting maintenance. Ensure that all industry standards are met. Conduct preconstruction site visits with the tenant representatives/contractors to identify any issues that may change the timeline or cost of the project. Interact with all the contractors that work directly for me to ensure the budget, schedules and tenant requirements are being met. Analyze, revise, and approve all construction drawings for different projects. Work with tenant site acquisition staff and construction personnel to identify missing or incorrect information in the CDs. Verify that the structural and mount analysis match the scope captured in the drawings before work begins. Work with tenant representatives and contractors to make sure all close out documents are being submitted and the permits have been closed after the job is completed. Meet with landlords to resolve any issues that may arise. Verify that the roads, gates, fences, and facilities are being maintained as needed. Communicate with the buildings and grounds group to take care of minor issues such as vegetation and mowing. Work with tenants to have equipment moved that has been identified as out of lease or encroaching on others leased space. Confirm that the lighting systems, signage, and safety climb systems are up to standards and in compliance. Coordinate engineering inspections and testing to be completed when contractors are doing structural modifications or civil modifications at the properties. Update the leasing group on two calls per week with schedule changes, budget items, progress reports, tenant issues, landlord issues, compliance issues and tenant contractor issues. Supervise all decommission work whether it is Shentel owned, or tenant owned to ensure that the site reflects the papered lease when the work is complete.

Work with the owner and share responsibilities regarding day to day operations. Coordinate schedules for jobs for multiple clients. Perform scope, pre-construction walks and provide estimates and job quotes. Attend punch walks with customer and/or turf vendors. Work with customers on job true ups, close out packages and handle questions and concerns. Work with office staff, the owner, and employees on administrative tasks including invoice/billing, pricing, advertising, hiring/firing, recruiting, material sourcing, disciplinary, pay scale, coordinating maintenance on vehicles and tools/equipment along with other processes for daily operations. Work in the field with the crews on site to lead, support and observe as necessary. Order materials, stage, stock and track as needed.

Submit MOPs as needed for ticket approval. Communicate to warehouse manager about any missing or needed materials that were not provided in site kit. Deliver missing or supplement materials to maximize production. Provide technical and administrative support to crews and colleagues on site or via phone/email as needed. Verify that all specs and standards are being held to customer requirements. Report the site(s) progress to the management team and to the customer. Ensure that all appropriate site documentation/photos are being submitted as needed and/or as job progresses to completion. Perform post completion punch walk with the customer. Fix any minor/moderate issues on site day of punch walk if possible, to streamline production and site acceptance. Verify that crews and technicians are following all safety codes/requirements.

Manage assigned sites from Pre-construction all the way to integration. Coordinate any outages LTE/UMTS upgrade. Build supplemental material orders, if necessary. Provide crew support on site during construction and remotely as needed. Report the site progress to senior management daily with accuracy and detail. Forecast completion dates and drive the contractors to maintain schedule and goals. Review and approve closeout documents. Provide technical support to field crews/techs and to warehouse, when needed. Managed construction including: NSB (New Site Build), UMTS, microwave and primarily LTE. Take materials to sites, assist with access issues and give support to colleagues.
