As the twenty-ninth Babylon employee in the US, I made healthcare more accessible and affordable for millions of Americans - and millions more globally. I organized our agile US-based clinical engineering team to design, develop, and deliver a compliant usable telemedicine solution for the US market. As a part of this work, I oversaw the company’s first direct integration with an Electronic Health Record system, implemented critical localizations for the US market, and pioneered our integration with the larger US healthcare system.At Babylon I worked closely with our operations team to provide training, optimize product usage, and align US operational needs with Babylon's global priorities. To that effect, I ran Babylon’s first international clinical engineering team which standardized workforce management tooling and practices for hundreds of clinicians across the US, UK, and Canada. I served in an official alignment capacity to connect US operational stakeholders to UK-based product leaders and served as a Freedom to Speak Up guardian to promote ethical business practices.

Shortly after Optum acquired the Advisory Board Company, I engaged on a team providing valuable clinical market insights to health systems via a SaaS analytics platform powered by deidentified claims data. On a team of 4 product managers and over 20 engineers, I contributed towards key initiatives such as the launch of terabytes of longitudinal data. Additionally, I oversaw critical usability enhancements to legacy product features. These activities enabled over 300 health systems to grow their market footprint and brought millions of revenue each year for Optum.

At the Advisory Board Company, I launched a internal Master Data Management platform that consolidated terabytes of healthcare data throughout numerous internal product offerings. Through configurable matching algorithms - including deterministic and probabilistic models - and numerous data reconciliation strategies, my team standardized data throughout three of the company's largest data assets. These activities decreased the data overhead for our partner teams, improved renewals, and increased cross-sell between our various product offerings.
