Direct the CEC Program in the mid-Hudson region and work directly with county seats and municipalities in Rockland and Westchester counties.HVRC is one of 9 regional councils in New York State. In addition to our Clean Energy Communities work, HVRC provides a snapshot of our region’s economic status through the annually produced Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Report. HVRC also assists municipalities with accessing funding for infrastructure projects, water quality planning and technical support, watershed planning, sustainability planning, solid waste and materials management issues, and data requests.

Led team of 7.• Effectively managed 20-contract, $450,000 departmental budget. Won grants totaling $1.3 million (e.g., Wells Fargo Foundation, St. Christopher’s Foundation for Children, PWD, PADCED, OHCD, NeighborWorks).• Expanded Sustainable 19125&19134 initiative, consisting of Big Green Block GSI project (green stormwater infrastructure), Farm to Families CSA (community supported agriculture), workshops and events, composting, tree plantings, and growing leadership.• Reduced blight and drug activity through establishment of new civic association, participatory planning, arts- and greening-focused community building efforts, and CPTED projects. Developed program dissemination strategies with staff and over 100 elected officials, NGOs, environmental organizations, schools, large-scale employers, and faith-based institutions. Trained and co-managed over 400 street team members.

Project Manager for Development Finance Forum: Advanced development finance industry as secretariat for Ford Foundation-funded think tank of international development finance directors, CEOs, and Ford Foundation leadership. Planned, managed, and co-facilitated international conferences focusing on microfinance capitalization and distribution, institution and industry building, and policy development and advocacy. Managed content development and publication process for position paper Capital Plus. Directed 7 US and international staff in conference planning and management. Administered grant revenue of $650,000. Won grants totaling $350,000.Lending & Technical Assistance Officer: Stabilized distressed neighborhoods through the development of 155 affordable homeownership and rental housing units.
