Jounalism, Online: CTV.ca, TVO.The Agenda, Yonge St. Media, Maisonneuve, Zoomer MediaJournalism, Broadcast: I wrote and performed broadcast essays for TVO, The Agenda with Steve Paikin for two seasons.I'm an experienced television producer and have worked at CTV, CBC and CItytv in Vancouver and in Toronto at CBC and CTV.Other writing; marketing and business writing, including annual reports, brochures, web writing, book proposal, and business plans. Editing; as above and manuscript editing and preparation. Teaching; Ryerson Chang School of Continuing Education, Writing for PR and Copy Editing. Simon Fraser University, a PR course I designed called The Art of the Pitch. Also sat on the Writing and Publishing Advisory Board.Journalism is my second career, my first being PR and Communications, where I worked mostly in the entertainment and arts fields, with jobs at Roy Thomson/Massey Hall, the International Festival of Authors, and my last position at Chum Television's Bravo! as Director of Communications.I still consult and teach in the field of PR/Communications.Specialties: writing, proof reading, editing, book/manuscript editing, newspaper & magazine writing, brochures, annual reports, business plans, web writing, teaching PR and writing, PR consulting, event planning.
