ACMH’s mission is to ensure all Michigan children and youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges and their families live in a safe, welcoming community with access to needed services and supports. We provide family-to-family support, education, information, advocacy, networking, and leadership opportunities in an effort to empower families with the information, knowledge, and skills needed to successfully access the services and supports their children need. ACMH is Michigan’s federally funded Statewide Family Network funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association (SAMHSA) to provide support to families of children with mental health challenges. We are the statewide Training & Coordinating Partner for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Service’s Parent Support Partner and Youth Peer Support Projects.
