Visiting Student Researcher at Stanford University from April to June. I performed core flooding (flow-through) experiments on heterogeneous sandstones at the Benson Lab, Department of Energy Resources Engineering. I conducted both single-phase radiotracer pulse experiments using micro-PET imaging and two-phase (CO2/water, N2/water) core flooding experiments using a medical X-ray CT scanner.

I took part in a geology fieldwork in Utah desert with a research group of the University of Strathclyde. For three weeks we collected structural and stratigraphic data along Crow's Nest Fault, (West on Moab Fault and South on Big Hole fault). I also collected some samples of the Entrada Sandstone formation and Navajo Sandstone formation.
