As an Events Coordinator for the Center for Internet Security, I have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to plan internal and external CIS events. In my previous role as the Meetings, Marketing and Membership Manager at the NYPTA, I worked to grow the association's membership through the coordinated efforts of marketing and events. I also managed all social media platforms for the NYPTA, keeping them updated with information regarding healthcare, physical therapy legislation, wellness, and association business. I previously worked at an Association Management firm in Albany, and have a background in event planning. I have a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in business studies from the State University of New York at Geneseo. While at Geneseo I served two years as Captain of the Equestrian Team, gaining invaluable leadership and event planning experience. I am a current member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and in addition to my MPI membership, I served on the MPI UNY Chapter board of directors for three years. In 2016 I earned the Certified Meeting Professional designation.
