APTA New York is a membership based organization for Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, and students of physical therapy. The NYPTA is a chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association, and is currently the second largest chapter in the country, with over 6,000 members. The mission of the NYPTA is to empower and support its members in advancing the practice and profession of physical therapy through advocacy, education and research.
