I have worked for the past 18 years as an application developer. I have been responsible for the creation of a network performance analysis and alarming system for Bell's mobile network. I have assumed the role of main developer, system admin and DBA for a system serving several hundred users for the past nine years.I have mainly used .NET , .NET Core and shell scripts (bash) in the recent years, but I also had to work with C++ and Perl. I am extremely familiar with everything related to the manipulation of time-series data and optimizing queries.My responsibilities have allowed me to become well-versed in many areas of knowledge including ETL, time-series databases, MySql administration, Linux system administration and Openstack. I have developed solid problem-solving skills allowing me to troubleshoot a large number of issues related to the different part of these systems over the years. Learning about new things is extremely motivating for me.My computer background dates back 30 years. I have been writing computer programs as a hobby since the early 90s and have amassed a vast amount of general knowledge about computers, operating systems, major software, hardware and networks. I have always had an interest in computer graphics and also possess an understanding of the concepts and technologies behind them.
