Sailed on board Roll on Roll off vessel (MV Green Cove) as Third Mate in Able Bodied Seaman billet due to shortage of man power. Position allowed me to hone my skills as a helmsman, line handling, and basic seamanship.

-Sailed on board MSC Underway Replenishment Tanker (USNS Kanawha) on Persian Gulf deployment. -Held Secret Clearance. Supervised navigation watch and bridge maintenance. -Stood armed import watches in Persian Gulf Ports. -Acted as assistant security officer onboard vessel. -Responsible for updating bridge computerized navigation tools.-Trained new ordinary seaman to stand in port and sea watches.-Conducted classes under supervision of Chief Mate for Ordinary seaman to upgrade to Able Bodied Seaman.
