Senior design course focused on designing and modeling a weir for use in agricultural irrigation in the Mississippi Delta. Project deliverables include weir drawings ready for professional engineer review, bill of materials for construction quoting, and development of a “How-to-Design” manual for future designs using principles of hydrology and survey sites.

Collaborates with 3 other members to redesign a neck brace to promote personalized medicine and a safer, more regenerative healing method. Our projected work is to design a 3D printed or molded cast that could utilize lighter and cheaper materials with progressively less rigid structural integrity. The focus is to ensure that patients who use this brace will come out of the healing process with less muscle degradation, while actively preventing recurrent injuries to the neck.

Led a team of 4 to design wheelchair hand brakes, like those of a bike, by setting team goals and schedules, organizing interviews, and curating a final report of our process.
