Carlie works as an Engineer at Arzeda in Seattle, WA. Carlie graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a BS in Chemical Engineering in December of 2021. Her degree focuses on Biology and she also has earned a minor in Biomedical Engineering. Carlie was an active participant in her university's SWE chapter. She has been a part of the executive board for the Mines Ice Cream Club and participated in the Mines Internet Radio.While at Mines, Carlie has held several positions. Most recently, Carlie worked as a grader for Calculus 3 in the Math Department at Mines. Before this position, she worked in an upper-level Chemistry laboratory for two years. Carlie has experience running a small business. She sells embroidery online and locally. In doing this, she practices money and management skills. She is very skilled in communication and social media outreach. Through owning this business and also pursuing her degree, she has learned to be resourceful and exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills.
