Appointed by the Swedish government as Sweden's Trade Commissioner to Thailand and the neighboring Mekong markets, tasked with supporting the internationalization of Swedish firms and to promote Swedish exports, as well as to attract foreign corporate investments to Sweden.As Country Manager, my responsibilities include:• Representing interests of Swedish enterprise and Business Sweden in the Thailand and Emerging Mekong (Myanmar, Cambodia, Lao PDR) markets• Selling and marketing Business Sweden's services to existing and potential clients in both Sweden and in the SEA region• Maintaining continuous contact with existing and potential client enterprises and stakeholders• Managing, planning and participating in the execution of consulting / internationalization assignments• Management of the office and employees, including building the team and inspire and develop the team members• Developing business processes and the organization• Operating from a global perspective to promote Swedish industry and companies• As Business Sweden's sustainability lead for the Asia-Pacific region, support and drive internal process development as well as advisory to Swedish companies related to corporate sustainability & human rights
