Project Manager, Network Technician, Event Manager

Pre-Event:• Liaise with onsite IT and Management personnel to determine networking capabilities, access routes, power restrictions, equipment storage and any health and safety issues the venue might possess. Equipment logistics would also be finalised at this point.• Kick-off communication between clients, agencies and team members. Prioritise the acquisition of content delivered to the App whilst establishing requirements and managing expectations for building new ‘in-app’ features.• Meet with DevOps to implement new features and edit the Application UX using CSS3.• Inspire and negotiate with clients to adopt ‘meeting architecture best practices’ by proposing tried and tested meeting formats and interaction techniques.Onsite:• Coordinate with AV teams to integrate our software and hardware systems. • Lead the onsite team (2 to 10 members) in building LAN and WAN network topologies, patch switches, configure Access Points (Cisco Routers), assign device IP addresses, set up Debian Linux servers and network monitoring tools. • Meet with our clients to finalise running orders and test all aspects of the system, troubleshooting any last minute issues.• Promote and conduct briefings for agency staff, moderators and speakers to optimise integration of our product features into the various talks and presentations.• Network amongst delegates and agencies to promote our product and services securing future business or partnerships.Post Event• Compose an information package for our clients comprised of meaningful statistics, surveys and any feedback obtained from the respective events. • Work alongside the Sales Manager and participate in the client follow-up process to generate repeat or new business.• Handle multiple events and projects with explicit deadlines across 22 different countries whilst regularly joining other teams onsite in a support function.• Participate in monthly team meetings to deliver status updates and current issues or successes.
