Currently studying MSc in Computational Science and Engineering at EPFL. My passion lies in the application of AI and data science to contribute to a better world. I hold a degree in Industrial Technologies Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid, where I graduated with the prestigious 'Premio Extraordinario de Fin de Carrera' (#1 out of 159 students). During my bachelor’s, I was awarded two scholarships to spend a full year each at UC Berkeley and Georgia Tech.My research includes 'Performance Modeling and Cost Optimization of a Solar Desalination System Using Forward Osmosis with Energy Storage,' conducted at Georgia Tech and recently published in the journal Renewable Energy. At EPFL, I worked on Distributed Multi-Agent Bayesian Optimization for Black-Box Learning in Smart Building Temperature Control, and on multi-modal deep learning for hate speech detection. I aim to publish my findings on these two topics soon too.I have completed an internship at Peninsula Clean Energy in Silicon Valley, focusing on load forecasting through machine learning and assessing the impacts of building electrification, EV, and PV adoption.
