 Develop and implement local site documents with oversight from direct supervisor. Interact with USDA/FDA inspectors to ensure ongoing compliance with federal regulations along with timely resolution of deficiencies as needed. Support facility compliance to policy and regulations through onsite monitoring and/or verification activities. Perform sanitation and pre-operational monitoring procedures.  Conduct/Review Pre-op inspection records. Create a schedule of internal audits, lead or support execution of internal audits, track findings and ensure closure of corrective actions in a timely manner. Maintain readiness for Third Party GMP audit. Ensure that sanitation monitoring tests and procedures are properly understood and followed. Schedule and deliver local site Food Safety including CCPs, Food Défense, and Quality Management system training per schedule.  Investigate, log, track, and trend customer complaints. Support Corrective actions as needed.  Collaboration with organizational leadership in the establishment of quality assurance objectives on an annual basis. Provide FSQA support to internal projects (e.g., new items, new equipment installation, etc.).

 Lead of the Quality Control Area, responsible for the import-export analysis of raw meat and finished meat products in the Laredo, Texas facilities. Responsible for Quality Program to assure company and regulatory agencies requirements and procedures are met, which includes traceability, food security, pest control, sanitation and packaging processes. Lead of the Physical-Chemical Analysis Laboratory which provides specific data to the different Plants of the Company in USA and Mexico and certifies raw meat materials inspection for import. Manage utilization of SAP program and participate in continuous improvement programs. Responsible for maintaining HACCP program. Keep active and direct relationship with different areas within the Company in order to maintain communication and feedback about company providers (raw meat) and the accomplishment of the current specifications and established procedures and standards. Direct collaboration with Customer Services Department to define and/or re-define services based on business goals in order to increase customer’s satisfaction on finished meat products. Responsible for training personnel of Quality Control Department and related areas on new processes and operational procedures related to Quality Control. Provide technical support and coordinate problem solving procedures with other Department Managers. Assist in corrective and preventive actions to reduce the risk of exposure. Audit sanitation, housekeeping, and GMP practice assuring compliance with regulations and standards Responsible for delivering operations reports and audits with positive results.
