About Carlos Moya

I am a nanomaterials researcher with professional experience in Spain, Belgium, and USA. My work has been focused on fundamental research paying special attention to the application of stimuli-responsive NPs for health and environmental applications.I have a proactive attitude and a constant drive to learn and improve my skills. I'm fluent in Spanish, Catalan, and English, with a basic knowledge of French.I received the Maria Zambrano Fellowship in 2021, the Beatriu de Pinós MSCA Cofund in 2022, and I've been recognized with the MSCA Seal of Excellence in both 2021 and 2022. Besides, as a PI, I secured funding to advance my research through various Spanish grant programs, including ART2023 (IN2UB) and ELECMI (MICIN).Beyond my professional life, I'm an enthusiast of endurance sports such as running and cycling. I've completed two marathons, seven half-marathons, one Behovia race, and participated in over 30 races at 10 and 5 kilometers.
