• National Science Foundation REU grant recipient for summer undergraduate research• In the lab of Yuk-Ching Tse-Din, PhD, performed a high-throughput screen of a chemical library in the search for a Topoisomerase 1A poison inhibitor. Discovered thirteen candidates with strong topoisomerase-inhibition activity, results included in publication "Small- Molecule Inhibitors Targeting Topoisomerase I as Novel Antituberculosis Agents” (Sandhaus S et al, 2016)•For this research, received an Outstanding Presentation Award at ABRCMS, Nov 2014.
