Managing 8 cross-functional teams for maximizing the value of the effort done, it included the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, connecting technical, dissemination, and exploitation strategies.My main achievement during this time was to lead the project from when it was close to being canceled (after the first year) to a successful point, getting things done and creating a cutting-edge solution capable to be a successful outsider of the SmartCities domain by the end of the third year. Acting as a facilitator, I promoted a change in the working methodology and in the way to communicate and collaborate among the different teams, reducing dependencies, and improving execution. In that sense, we transitioned to a product-focused development, with a clear strategy on market and business impact. As a result, multiple demonstrators of the product were a reality, other companies, universities, and municipalities joined the ecosystem and we got very positive feedback from international authorities. Additionally, I was in charge of wireless site surveys and the design and deployment of WLAN infrastructures based upon Cisco LAPs and WLAN Controllers and different authentication mechanisms.
