Corporate Security Manager
CurrentMy goal is to achieve and maintain a sound security environment throughout the Organization, in accordance with established company policies. Working to develop preventative, and where necessary, proactively exploring fraud and misconduct associated with business operations to maintain and improve the level of security for employees, facilities, and other assets. • Identify areas where company is vulnerable for external/internal theft and make recommendations to appropriate management personnel;• Investigate all allegations of employee criminal misconduct, security breaches, and internal control violations, and provide required reporting of such incidents, including Code of Conduct and Ethics and Compliance violations to Director and Executive Leadership;• Conduct periodic Risk Assessment surveys of all facilities, and submit recommendations to Unit Management;• In cases involving external theft, pursue investigations, liaison with law enforcement, act as custodian of records, represent the company as the victim, and make formal restitution request from the court when cases are prosecuted;• Investigate, locate and recover company lost/stolen equipment;• Together with Human Resources, represent and provide documentation during unemployment hearings of former employees who have been terminated for violating company policies and/or criminal activity, and subsequently submit request for unemployment compensation from the State;• Conduct and/or coordinate Workplace Violence training as well as various controls and security awareness training to Sales Center, Production Center, Administrative Offices and Market Unit personnel as deemed beneficial.
