I'm a filmmaker and video artist with a particular focus on human and women's rights, living and working in Berlin, Germany. I have worked on international productions commissioned by Current TV, History Channel, ARTE, RBB, Sky, Lifegate, El Pais, Le Figarò, and La Repubblica. I collaborate with various NGOs as a consultant and creator for social campaigns.Due to my background in Sociology, Human Rights, and Social Communication, I concentrate my artistic research on portraying social issues affecting the most vulnerable groups in society, including women, migrants, refugees, ethnic minorities, and underserved communities. My latest works include the experimental film "Enaction" (Celeste Prize for Contemporary Art, 2014), the documentary "Eco de Femmes" (2015), the short fiction film "El Hijo de Fatima" (2016), and "Land of the Free" (Best Short Documentary, Festival Amnesty International 2021). My first book, which explores the interconnections between cinema and ethnographic social investigation, was released in 2023.
