In this project site based role I manage a team of 15 professionals to provide the project services function to the construction management phase of this $1.7B EPCM project.Change Management, Cost Control, Contracts Management, Planning & Scheduling and Estimating are the components of project services provided to our client.This portion of the PCS Rocanville West Expansion Project completed the new mill, product storage and product loadout scope within budget.

This role provides leadership, direction, mentor-ship and functional management of staff responsible for Project Controls which scope includes: cost management, planning and scheduling, progress and earned value measurement, overall report coordination, and is an integral part in the change management process. In this role I am a functional department head responsible for all project controls staff management and administration including fulfilling project team resource requirements. This role is also be responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of project control standards, procedures and systems for use on projects. This role is a key member of the Project Services team in helping to assess strategic risks for projects and ensure mitigation plans are developed to address those risks.

Responsible for project services primarily in the mining industry. Services include, but are not limited to: capital cost estimates, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and document control.

Project management activities in the business process and ERP sphere. Previous experience in industrial construction, recent in SAP implementations.

Cost estimation for industrial construction projects, cost control for same.

Planning, scheduling and cost control on major construction projects. Most significantly Cameco's flagship operation, McArthur River mine
