Led multiple client teams providing comprehensive digital and communications strategy to progressive organizations and companies including Care2, Groundswell Energy, the National Center for Transgender Equality, Restaurant Opportunities Center United, SumOfUs, Global Witness, the Youth First Initiative, Change To Win Federation, HeadCount, People For The American Way, and others. Led new business initiatives, directly bringing on new contracts totaling over $100,000 in 2015 as well as routinely participating in new business proposals and pitch meetings. Developed a brand new media and digital trainings division within the firm, directly resulting in a new revenue model as well as a robust client training program. Directly managed digital strategist, including setting goals and employee development programs, on the job training, feedback and evaluation. Managed external vendors and contractors to provide client services in website development, graphic design, video production, ads management, and contract client services work. Organized and participated in panels at the Policy Link Equity Summit, Creating Change, Uproots and RootsCamp conferences.

Managed the digital program including designing, writing, and executing online fundraising, online advocacy, and social media campaigns. Managed, segmented, and built email list of over 90,000 members nationwide and increased social media following organically to over 15,000 followers. Coordinated all online editorial calendars and outgoing digital communications.Chaired the Communications Committee for the United For Marriage Coalition. Served as organizational spokesperson with on the record experience, lead internal team to design and implement story collection campaign, lead internal facilitative leadership training committee for staff development, and managed website overhaul and redesign project spanning several months.Designed and executed media strategy around core campaigns including the Outspoken Generation, Supreme Court marriage equality cases, and Every Child Deserves a Family Act resulting in coverage on MSNBC, NPR, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Sirius Satellite Radio, Huffington Post Live. Built and maintained a network of online and traditional media contacts, resulting in regular national media placements. Extensive experience with Convio Online Marketing CMS/CRM, Adobe Professional Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc as well as HTML/CSS proficiency.Promoted from New Media Associate to New Media Manager then Digital Communications Manager positions in under a year.

Coordinated Digital Strategy 101 Course and taught Digital Strategy to 30 students through lectures, practice sessions, group discussions, and course assignments. Conducted several advanced trainings on video production and strategy and on social media tactics to hundreds of organizers online and offline.

Founded National online advocacy site to elevate and highlight the stories of LGBT people. Conceived and designed website powered by the wordpress content management system. Site currently has a national following with over 1 million lifetime page views.

Conceptualized, managed, and organized major counter-protest, rallying 400 plus people for Marriage EqualityCoordinated all logistical aspects as well as integrated new media and blog outreach strategies.Built coalition of more than 50 local and national LGBT, ally organizations and inclusive faith communities, resulting in one of the most diverse equality events in the Summer of 2010.

Administered educational outreach in target community areas to supplement existing music programs.Coordinated recruitment and retention of students in St. James Parish, LA.Organized instrument rental and private instrumental instruction.

Executed the tour schedule across 20 cities in the U.S. and Canada.Coordinated travel logistics and living accommodations for 35 musicians. Arranged chamber performances and served as community relations liaison.

Founded and lead Duquesne Students For Barack Obama during 2008 Pennsylvania Primary.Built and managed a team of over 30 volunteers to coordinate campus voter registration drive, regular phone banks, canvassing in local communities. Cut canvassing turf, worked with the Voter Activation Network, built phone lists, and worked with the local and state campaign staff to meet organizing goals.
