I am a Partner and Head of Intellectual Property at Ashfords LLP. I am dual qualified as a solicitor and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. I specialise in advising clients on all aspects of Intellectual Property law (i.e trade marks, copyrights, patents, designs, confidential information, etc.) and I deal with both disputes and non-contentious matters. I have particular expertise in trade mark law. Over the years I have cleared, filed, prosecuted, opposed, litigated, assigned, licensed and maintained hundreds of trade marks across the globe for clients. Also, I lecture on trade mark law to undergraduates at the University of Exeter. As part of my practice, I also advise on, draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g. supply, manufacturing and distribution agreements, sale of goods T&Cs, supply of services agreements). I also conduct some general commercial litigation (e.g. breach of contract claims).
