Supply Chain Specialist
Current- Develop and implement an Instrument Planning and Management Process- Develop comprehensive utilization reports which includes set performance, loaner vs. consignment turns, Loaner Services customers/usage, rollout schedules, disabled sets and return to service plans, spend, actual vs. target availability- Cost effective vendor selection and order quantity- Collaborative: engagement of all internal and external stakeholders - Coordination: purchase requisitions and related purchasing activities, Ringi's, expediting, supporting warehouse and Quality activities, set assembly and preparation, validation activities, deployment plan & schedule, issue resolution, IWT replacement, recertification's/recalibrations, and special requests from customers- Coordinate alignment initiatives with implant planning and management- Communication of plans, schedules, and upcoming activities/events- Training and information resource for Fulfillment Center personnel- Setup and maintenance of sets in ERP system. Ensures consistency of instrument and set descriptions, master references, bill of materials, and set identification/reference - Define and manage backstock inventory required to support targeted set availability- Analysis and proposals: Field and Loaner Services set performance, proposes Loaner Services usage or consignment for customers, recommends additional set requirements- Vendor selection: evaluation of vendor on-time, quality, and pricing - Support Warehouse Automation implementation to introduce scanning and other technical warehouse solutions- Support Field Inventory Management implementation- Develop and maintain ERP Action Centers. Manage ERP improvement projects.- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to current processes and activities to reduce errors and waste, while improving efficiency and productivity- Support the transition to a new distribution center, including setup of an in-house cleaning and decontamination process
