Determined seismic wave velocity in the Mount St. Helens, WA, region, using earthquake and explosion wave arrival times from multiple data sets using C++, Bash, Matlab. - Collaborated with researchers at the University of Washington, University of Arizona, Cornell University, and USGS, on interpretation of 3-D crustal models to improve volcanic hazard.

Studied the seismic wave velocity beneath Mount St. Helens, WA; Low velocities indicate 15-20 cubic km of partial magmatic melt are stored 7-15 km beneath the volcano.- Deployed and maintained a 70-element seismometer array at Mount St. Helens, WA; Performed quality control and publically archived ~1TB of seismic data collected over a 2-year period.
