In this position I am responsible for transition activities of airframe structural components (wings) sourced in Mexico. I am preparing the selected source to move out of transition mode and into sustainment. Moving into sustainment includes finalizing the source of supply for all lower level details including machine, sheetmetal, and purchased details.

Responsible to deal with all vender accounts through the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy process. This included being the vendor’s point of contact for all aspects of the relationship including financial and claim related questions. I relayed messages from Beechcraft including stop work notices, production stop, and payment status. I played a vital role in insuring.

In this position I am responsible for all international sourcing. I am working with 15+ vendors in both, the UK and Mexico as well as other potential international supplier. As a major stake holder I contribute in new supplier down selections process, act as a project manager after selection process, and coordinate contract negotiations. I am actively.

In this position I was responsible for the team that transitions lower level components from current production location to new production location – “Make to Buy” & “Buy to Buy” that are both domestic and international. This includes all aspects of inventory levels, production scheduling, integrity of part number master data, issuing of purchase orders.

Responsible to handle materials support and scheduling for domestic and international strategic offload projects. Required to consider all aspects of production and inventory while maintaining a seamless and synchronized supply of parts for manufacturing and assembly. Suppliers included internal and external as well as domestic and international. I.

Control and maintain the through put of shop orders through manufacturing shops. Manage shop control documents and reports. Order tools, chase lower lever shortages, and report current status of details to assembly production. Track on-time release, on-time to close, and material availability and report those metrics to plant management.

Operation and set-up of many types of CNC milling equipment include large multi axis machines. Shop leadsman, set-up man and go to guy for other machinists.
