Director of Global busines development at CGG GeoSolutions, a part of CGGs Multiclient and New Ventures (MCNV) Group. Responsibility for Global Business Development and new project development, making use of the full potfolio of data and capability accross CGG. Integrated geoscience projects are at the core of what we do, taking advantage of the high end seismic library and processing capability of CGG and access to leading geoscience consultancy businesses including Robertson and NPA Satellite Mapping. We continue to invest and derive value from Robertson regional studies and the Robertson New Ventures Suite, with ongoing digitalization programs providing new platforms to generate value for our clients.Technical experience: Reservoir discription and characterisation of clastic reservoirs in most petroleum provinces. Specific experience in the Jurassic of the North Sea and Barents Sea, Far eastern Russia, the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Palaeozoic of North Africa and the Gulf. Experience of global exploration, including palaeogeographic, plate tectonic and palaeoclimate projects. Developing and applying techniques in the development of landscape evolution models to constrain sediment supply to offshore basins, including remote sensing, GIS and drainage network analysis. Instructor for numerous classroom and field courses in sedimentology and exploration geology.Specialties: Reservoir description and characterisation, of both clastic and carbonate reservoirs. Static reservoir modelling, partcularly the geological controls on reservoir development and application of analogue data. Frontier exploration, including techniques in drainage network and hinterland analysis and sequence startigraphy. Multidisciplinary project management.
