10+ years military service has gained me many leadership and management skills which are transferable to any sector. Backed by level 5 -7 business leadership and management, I have worked mid to senior management roles in Healthcare, Defence and Retail. The one common factor which makes me successful is my adaptive nature, my resourcefulness and my people skills. This is possible as I started as an entry level recruit myself as a Private Soldier in the British Army, and only through hard work and consistency was I able to develop myself beyond leaving the military as a Senior Non-commissioned officer. I can lead entry level recruits and senior partners with the same confidence and professionalism, I build strong working relationships with all my employees and am able to motivate and develop them beyond what they think possible of themselves. This has been proven in every role I have undertaken, some of my accomplishments include, consistently reaching KPIs, improving employee retention and job satisfaction, working under budget on management projects, increasing week on week profits, and improving services to clients which received a commendation. I am confident that my management style will fit into any working environment, and as I am constantly developing myself, even if this is a sector I have not worked in before I am teachable and learn quickly.I am a single parent to two children, one who has embarked on a career in HM Royal Navy the other is completing their final year at school. My time management has to and always is impeccable for me to find a balance between my work and home life.
