In her first year of becoming a real estate agent, Carma Bryan was recognized as a Rising Star by Lincoln Real Producers Magazine, and in the following years, has consistently been one of the top residential real estate producers in Lincoln, Nebraska.Carma’s decision to become a Realtor was born from over two decades of being deeply committed and invested in her local community. In 1997, she acted on her passion to serve others by co-founding City Impact, a thriving non-profit ministry that has served thousands of local youth with the purpose of training and raising urban leaders (for the entire city) from within the neighborhood. She and her husband, Brad, also co-founder, began the non-profit in their own home which they intentionally bought in the neighborhood they served. City Impact has grown significantly and gained such credibility that it was granted The Lincoln Community Development Award in 2015.This $4.6 million dollar award was essential for empowering City Impact to build a youth facility for leadership training, offices, classrooms, multipurpose rooms, a recording studio and so much more.In addition to the development of this community center, they were able to build 14 affordable townhomes with a rent-to-own model, creating a path to homeownership for those within the community. It was through the process of developing these townhomes that Carma’s passion for real estate was born. The project expanded her knowledge regarding the complexities of funding, building, planning, and developing within the scope of real estate. Because Carma was born and raised in “the 402,” she has unique knowledge of the greater community and detailed insight into each neighborhood in this beautiful city. She understands what draws people here and what keeps them here as well.In her “free” time, Carma will be doing what she’s always been doing, which is loving and serving her family and her local community, and if she is ever without someone to take care of, you’ll find her riding with the top down in her jeep.
